Countdown
A live countdown timer that counts down to a date and time you set.
Countdown shows the days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until a date and time you choose. Use it for launches, sales, or event pages.
Add it
In WPBakery, click Add Element and pick Countdown from the Highend Shortcodes category. Or use the shortcode (see Shortcode).
Settings
24 april 2016 16:00:00dateThe date and time to count down to, in DD Month YYYY HH:MM:SS format using 24-hour time, for example 27 february 2027 12:00:00. The default value WPBakery pre-fills is already in the past, so replace it before publishing.
OffaligncenterCenters the four time units instead of left-aligning them.
Common settings
Countdown also has Entrance Animation, Entrance Delay, and Extra class name fields (see the Elements overview).
Shortcode
[countdown date="31 december 2026 23:59:59" aligncenter="yes"]If you omit date entirely, the countdown falls back to 10 days from today rather than the WPBakery placeholder date.
