Clear

Clears floated elements, so content after them starts on a new line instead of wrapping around them.

Several shortcodes (like Icon) float left by default. Clear inserts a clearing <div> after them so whatever comes next starts below, instead of wrapping up alongside the floated elements.

Two rows of floated icons, each followed by a heading that starts cleanly on its own line thanks to a clear elementClear keeps “Colors” and “With a link” from wrapping up next to the icons above them.

Add it

In WPBakery, click Add Element and pick Clear from the Highend Shortcodes category. Or use the shortcode (see Shortcode).

Clear has no settings: WPBakery shows it with just a delete control, no edit panel.

Shortcode

[clear]

Clear takes no attributes and no content: it's a self-closing shortcode. Unlike most elements, it has no Extra class name, animation, or margin fields.

Tips

Use it after a group of floated icons or icon columns placed directly in a text block, so the next heading or paragraph doesn't wrap around them. Inside a WPBakery Row/Column, this usually isn't needed, since columns already clear their own floats.
